Driving Directions to Campus

On the campus map, Reservoir Road forms the northern boundary of the campus. There is parking on campus in the lot between St. Mary's Hall and the Medical Center and in parking garages off Reservoir Road and in the Leavey Center (see the campus map). There is also free (after 6:30) curbside parking off Reservoir Road and metered parking on and off Reservoir Road (four hour maximum, $0.75 per hour). St. Mary's Hall is on Reservoir Road.

• From points east in the District, Reservoir Rd is just west of Wisconsin Avenue, one block south of R Street.

• From Northern Virginia, take I-66, Rosslyn exit (Exit #73) or some other route to cross the Key Bridge into the District. Turn left at the end of the bridge onto Canal Rd. Proceed to the first traffic light where Canal Rd forks and take the right fork onto Foxhall Rd. Drive about a mile to Reservoir Rd; turn right onto Reservoir.

• From Maryland, either take Wisconsin Avenue south and turn right onto Reservoir Road, one block south of Reservoir Road, or take MacArthur Boulevard inbound and bear left onto Reservoir Road as you see the reservoir on your right.

Metro and Campus Shuttle

Georgetown University operates bus shuttles (GUTS) between the Dupont Circle and the Rosslyn Metro stations and the Main campus. The GUTS bus schedule is here.  The service is free for Georgetown students and staff and for visitors and people doing business on campus. A picture ID is required. Busses run from 6 AM until midnight.

The Rosslyn GUTS pickup is on N Moore Street, 1 block north of the Metro Station at 19th St. The Dupont Circle pickup is on P Street just west of Dupont Circle. Look for the white bus or the GUTS sign near 20th and P. If the driver asks, tell him/her that you are a visitor to the Department of Mathematics.

Both Rosslyn and Dupont Circle shuttles pick up and drop off passengers at the Leavey Center on campus, location #24 on the North campus map. St. Mary's Hall is a short walk to the north.
